With this itinerary, we will make you discover some of the most important Modernism-style bars after-dark. Unknown places frequented by Picasso, Casas, Russiñol among others, will allow us to listen to the stories of entertainment, bohemian life and perversion lurking within their walls.
One of the defining characteristics of Catalonia’s home-grown art nouveau, modernism, was the creation of unique architectural spaces that brought together all the arts in spectacular fashion. On this tour you will discover these places, many of them off the usual tourist trails but still in use today, that will reveal the atmosphere and splendour of modernist bohemian life.
As you enjoy a drink, you’ll find out about the complex society that gave rise to one of the most intense periods in Barcelona’s history.
